Promotion of Sponsors - Remember that when you are out in the community you are representing your sponsors (Buckeye marine, The Wake Institute & individual sponsors). Do them proud.
Persevere - We are more concerned with riders having fun, trying hard and supporting the team than we are with winning. Never give up!
Practice hard-
Practice like every day is competition. Give 100% all of the time.

Riders should come prepared with his/her own equipment including: wakeboard/wakeskate and bindings and a properly sized vest. Rope and handle will be provided however if you would like to bring your own you are welcome to.

Buckeye will be providing each team member with a team uniform to wear at events. Bathing suits and wetsuits will be the responsibility of the individual team member.

The team will be provided with promotion material applicable to the event they are attending. This could include:

·         A large poster explaining the 5 W's of the team for on-land/stationary events

·         A large tower banner for on-water events

·         Flyers/coupons for community events

·         Logoed t-shirts to be worn at all events

Events & Giving Back:

As part of the team, each member will be required to assist their principle sponsor (Buckeye marine) in running events that give back to customers and the local community. Although it would be great to have all team members present at every event, we understand that summer is for fun too! With that in mind, not all team members are required to be at every event however we would like to have at least 1 team member present to show the teams support and educate people on the importance and excitement of wakeboarding. Each team member is required to attend a minimum of 6 events (1 Buckeye event & 5 Wakeboard events).

Each team member will be required to promote themselves, the team and the sport of wakeboarding through mediums such as the Team blog & facebook page, twitter, letters to news papers or other creative mediums.
