Cruiser Orientation
Advanced
Cruiser Orientation is typically four hours in length and instructed by
our Cruise Club Captain or our Captain On-Water Demonstrator. This is
an experience that will be adapted to meet your family's specific needs.
During
the advanced cruiser training, we encourage that all individuals who
will be using the boat, both drivers and passengers, are present. The
presence of captain and crew is a very important aspect of the advanced
training because an essential part of operating a cruiser is the
interaction between crew members and a general understanding of the
functions of the boat as a team.
Designed to meet your specific
needs, the captain can cover a range of topics including procedures for
driving, trimming, docking, twin engine manoeuvering, taking the boat
through the locks, using electronic navigation equipment and any other
areas that you may need addressed.
